Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute is a post-graduate institute of Archeology and Linguistics in Pune, India. It was established on October 6, 1821. The Institute is affiliated to University of Pune. M. A. - Sanskrit & Lexicography The M.A. Degree course is of two years duration and consists of four semesters. In each semester students offer four papers. The course is open to full-time regular students only. External students are not eligible for admission. Eligibility criteria- B. A. (or its equivalent) or B. Sc. with at least one paper in Sanskrit Language. Admission process- Candidates seeking admission to M.A. course shall apply on a prescribed form. The application form duly filled in by the candidate in his own hand and a passport –size photo affixed together with attested copies of the documents, must reach the Asstt. Registrar, Academic Section of the Institute by 10th June. Marks-lists of the following qualifying examinations : SSC, HSC, B.A. / B.Sc. Character certificate from the Head of the Department / from which the candidate has obtained his qualifying degree Documents required- Filled Application form Mark-list of the last qualifying examination If the final degree examination result is not declared the candidate shall submit statement of marks of previous year (second year) degree examination mark sheet. Migration Certificate (no objection certificate from the University last attended). Degree / Passing certificate of the last qualifying exam.
