As you want to get the details of dates for the exam of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) so here it is for you:

NATA 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed class 10th or equivalent examination can appear for NATA 2014 but are not eligible to apply for the B.Arch courses.

Candidates must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for NATA 2014.

Candidates must have studies Mathematics in class 12th

NATA 2014 Exam Pattern:
It is a paper based section for drawing and computer based section for aesthetic sensitivity.

The Drawing Test is for 2 hours and Aesthetic Sensitivity Test comprises of 40 questions with 60 to 90 seconds given for each question.

NATA 2014 Application Fees:
Rs 1000.

NATA 2014 Application Fees can be paid:
Online through Net banking, Credit Cards/ ICICI Isure

NATA syllabus:
ARCHITECTURE AWARENESS & Aptitude

Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil,
Architectural Awareness,
architectural terminology,
Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities and colour.
Historical and contemporary buildings of Architectural importance,
Architects and their Works,
Awareness of persons, places, buildings etc. of Architectural importance,

AESTHETIC SENSITIVITY

Aesthetic, Sensitivity and Drawing Skills,
Analytical reasoning Mental ability,
Elements of Design: Lines, Form, Mass, Solid etc,
Generation of plan, elevations and 3D views of objects.
Creating two dimensional and three dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms,
Development of 3 Dimensional objects from two-dimensional shapes Or vice versa,
Visualizing different sides of Three Dimensional objects,
theory of colors,
Principle of Design, Harmony, Balance, etc.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), is an entrance exam for admission oin first year of B.Arch/ B.Plan. course.

As per your request, I am giving you important dates of NATA 2015 exam.

Notification of Registration Last week of February, 2015
Online Registration 1st week of March, 2015
Test Dates 2nd or 3rd week of March, 2015
Score Card 4 days after NATA 2015

Eligibility:

Applicants have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least of 50% marks
Applicants must have studied Mathematics as a main subject in 10+2.

NATA exam pattern:

NATA exam consists of two papers:
Paper-I: Drawing Test
Paper-II: Aesthetic Sensitivity Test

The exam is in 2 parts.
A paper based drawing test
Computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test.

Exam Duration: 2 Hours

Exam fee: 1000

Enter your username, password and your email address.
After filling this form, click Create User Button.
You will receive an email address after completing registration.
