The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India common entrance examination. It is conducted on a rotation basis by 19 national law universities (NLUs) of India. It is organizes for offering admission into UG and PG degree programs of law. Through this examination, appearing candidate can get admission in various universities in all over India. CLAT 2020 Application Form - Dates Start of online application Form January 1, 2020 (Open now) Application form closes March 31, 2020 Issue of admit card 2nd week of May, 2020 (Tentative) CLAT 2020 exam May 10, 2020 Publication of Official Answer Key 11 May 2020 Objections can be submitted from 12 to 15 May 2020 Notification of final answer key 18 May 2020 Result declaration on 24 May 2020 CLAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For the UG Law Courses: Age limit – No upper age limit for candidates who wish to apply for CLAT 2020 Qualification – One must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. The percentage of candidates in the qualifying examination should be: 45% marks – for General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI candidates. 40% marks – for SC / ST candidates. One studying in 10+2 can also apply. However, one needed to submit mark sheet during the time of admission. These candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Syllabus for CLAT Exam for Undergraduate English Language Current Affairs, including General Knowledge Legal Reasoning Logical Reasoning Quantitative Techniques CLAT Exam Pattern Exam Mode: As per the CLAT exam pattern, the test will be held in offline mode. Duration: Candidate will be given two hours to attempt the law examinations. Number & Type of Questions: There will be total 150 of multiple choice questions. Marking: Each correct answer will be awarded one mark each and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Language: The questions of CLAT will be in English language only. |
