The Master of Business Administration Program offered by Dallas Baptist University Graduate School of Business is a 36-hour, non-thesis master’s degree that prepares graduates to be successful professionally and personally. MBA graduates become accountants, project managers, creative marketing strategists, IT professionals in business intelligence and data analytics, financial analysts, entrepreneurs, global business strategists, operational leaders, and so much more. Become a problem solver who will make a difference and impact locally and globally. The Program prepares students for visionary careers in today’s global business environment. It challenges students to build rigorous problem solving and analytical skills, versatile social aptitudes, and foundational business knowledge through practical, real-world projects. Specific learning foci include: creative leadership, customer relationship development, marketing, messaging and sales, culture innovation, and value-centric servant leadership. Admission Requirements for the M.B.A 1. Bachelor degree from a regionally accredited institution 2. Evidence of sound moral character and compatibility with DBU’s mission 3. Likelihood for academic success as demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher 4. A minimum Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score of 425. 5. Five or more years of significant, substantive managerial/leadership experience that may be evidenced through resume review, applicant interview, or employer recommendations. 6. 12 hours of graduate work from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. One who meets criteria 1, 2, and 3, in combination with one of criteria 4-6, may be granted Full Admission. The Master's Degree Admission Committee strives to take a view of one to determine the likelihood for success in the MBA program. One who show potential for graduate study, but do not meet the criteria for Full Admission may be admitted for up to 12 hours under Provisional status.
