The MP PET eligibility criteria are decided by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh. They are:

Applicants must be of Indian origin.

Applicant must have cleared the Madhya Pradesh HSC exam or Class XII exam of other board with subject combination of Physics, Chemistry with Mathematics.

The minimum aggregate marks required for admission must be 45% (General) and 40% (OBC, ST and SC).

Applicants who have passed qualifying exam with grace marks are equally eligible provided that they have scored the minimum score aggregate percentage as per MP PET Eligibility Criteria.

Applicants who qualify the exam can apply as well if they are able to produce the exam result at the time of counseling.
