The International School of Photonics has fully-grown to become one of the flagship school, known for the excellence of its teaching, its research, and its service to national and international communities.

International School of Photonics is the solitary Institute in India which offers an opening in core photonic technology immediately after higher secondary studies.

ISP at present has more than 150 students of whom 100 are M.Sc ( 5 year Integrated), 20 are M.Tech (Optoelectronics and Laser Technology) and 30 are PhD students.

Qualified in Plus Two examination of the State of Kerala with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subject or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto securing a bare minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

M. Tech. Opto-Electronics and Laser Technology
i) A Master’s degree in Physics / Electronics/Photonics or B.Tech /B.E Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics with a first class (60%) from any recognized University or institution
ii) A suitable GATE score (in the concerned branch of study)
iii) If sufficient numbers of aspirants with GATE score in the concerned branch of study are not available, then candidates with GATE score in Instrumentation will be considered. If enough numbers of GATE score holders are not available a pass in DAT is enough.
