Annual percentage growth rate of Gross Domestic Product GDP at market prices based on constant local currency

GDP is the sum of gross value added by all resident producers in the economy plus any product taxes and minus any subsidies not included in the value of the products

GDP Growth Rate in China is reported by the National Bureau of Statistics of China.

The gross domestic product in China expanded 1.6 percent in the December quarter of 2015, slowing from 1.8 percent growth in the third quarter and slightly below market consensus of a 1.7 percent expansion.

GDP Growth Rate in China averaged 1.89 percent from 2010 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 2.50 percent in the second quarter of 2011 and a record low of 1.30 percent in the first quarter of 2015.
