Can you tell me about the Criteria for Admission for Executive MBA Program offered by Zicklin School of Business of the City University of New York?

The Zicklin Executive MBA is structured to meet the needs of high-potential professionals and business leaders who are ready to take their organizations and careers to the next level. The Executive MBA provides you with the tools to manage people and embrace innovation.

Criteria for Admission
Basic qualifications for EMBA candidacy include:

At least 5-7 years of professional/managerial experience (generally this should be post-undergraduate experience)
An undergraduate degree from an accredited university or foreign equivalent
Appropriate quantitative skills (demonstrated by test scores or acquired through professional experience or academic training)

Fall 2018 Priority Application Deadline April 20, 2018
Fall 2018 Final Application Deadline June 20, 2018
Applications will be accepted after the final deadline on a rolling basis, as space allows

Boot Camp 2018 July 28th, August 4th, and August 11th
Executive Programs New Student Orientation August 17-18, 2018
Classes begin September 8, 2018

Admission Process
Candidates generally move through the following steps during the application process:
Submit an online application and all supporting application documents.
Once application is complete, qualified candidate is invited to campus for an admissions interview (virtual interviews are available for candidates outside of NYC metro area).
Decisions are typically given within 1-2 weeks of interview.

Application Components
A complete application includes:
Online application
$125 application fee
2 professional recommendations
One should be from current supervisor
Academic transcripts
Unofficial transcripts can be uploaded into the online application; official transcripts will be required if admitted
Complete essay questions (available within the online application portal)
Current resume/CV

GMAT, GRE, or Admissions Test scores
Occasionally test scores can be waived for applicants to the Executive MBA program. Those that are required to submit test scores can be considered for our in-house Admission Test as an alternative to the GRE/GMAT.

Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable)
TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores is required for one whose native language is not English or who were educated in non-English speaking institutions. Test scores more than 2 years old are not acceptable.
