CT Bar Institute was founded in 2000 as a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization pursuant to section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

CT Bar Institute owns the building at 30 Bank Street, New Britain, which is the home of the CBA Law Center. Our renovation of the entire building was completed in January 2009.
