The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) will hold the Joint-CSIR UGC test, which will likely be hung on December 20 to decide the qualification of the Indian National contender for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) grant, alongside the arrangement of Lecturers (NET). Subjects OF Joint CSIR UGC NET 2016:- The Test will be held in the subjects as given under: 1. Chemical Sciences 2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences 3. Life Sciences 4. Mathematical Sciences 5 Physical Sciences Joint CSIR UGC NET 2016 Paper Pattern:- The single paper MCQ based test will be held tentatively on Sunday, the 18th December, 2016 as under: Subject - (i) Life Sciences (ii) Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences (iii) Mathematical Sciences (iv) Chemical Sciences (v) Physical Sciences Marks - 200 Duration:- 3 hrs Session:- Morning Session 9.00AM-12.00 Noon Afternoon Session 2.00 PM-5.00 PM The question paper shall be divided into three parts, (A, B & C) as per syllabus & Scheme of Exam. The competitors will be tried on the premise of their execution in the three segments of the exam: Section A: This part will contain questions relating to General Aptitude with accentuation on sensible thinking, graphical examination, diagnostic and numerical capacity, quantitative correlation and riddles. Part B: This part will contain subject related traditional Multiple Choice inquiries (MCQs) and will require the understudies to answer unbiasedly. Part C: This part will contain questions that will test the hopeful's learning of logical ideas as well as use of the logical ideas. The applicants, on giving a wrong answer, will be checked contrarily, according to subject shrewd plan of the exam. Assuming, in any case, a question for a reason is discovered wrong, the advantage of imprints will be given to just those hopefuls who endeavor the question. The competitors will be given a choice to select one of the above however they would not be permitted to put in solicitations for change of focus. No competitor will be permitted to leave the examination premises before finishing two and half hours. The competitors leaving the exam scene before the finish of the planned time of the exam are allowed to take their question booklet |
