As you want to apply in NIT Surat through Central Seat Allocation Board rounds, here I will let you know eligibility criteria and process to participate in it.

Eligibility
Candidates must have cleared the JEE Main exam

Candidates who participated in JoSAA counselling, and were declared ineligible, they will not be considered for CSAB 2017 special seat filling round

Candidates who had not registered for JoSAA and are eligible according to their JEE Main Rank, they would be able to participate in the special round for admission to the, GFTIs, and NITs

There will be one-time relaxation in the eligibility criteria regarding the class 12th marks for candidates from the north eastern states competing for the Home State Quota seats during the special round. Candidates who secured at least 45 % marks (40% for SC, ST, PWD) in the 12th class, they will be eligible to apply.

If the seats are left in the home state quota, after the allotment of seats to the candidates of the home state eligibility, those seats will be filled by candidates belonging to other states on the basis of the JEE Main ranks

If the seats are still left vacant in first iteration of Special Round, these seats will be converted to All India Quota in the same category and will be filled in subsequent iterations in the special Round Itself

The candidates allotted seat in CSAB Supernumerary Round 2017 will have to pay the whole institute fee and the initial fee at the time of reporting to the allotted institute and the initial fee will be us under:
