Hi I have completed 12th now how can I apply for the CS entrance exam?

Ok, after 12th you have to appear for CS Foundation exam for admission in CS course. It is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Company Secretary is one of the most important professional in any company.

CS Foundation exam-

Eligibility-

Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination of a Board/University constituted by law in India or any examination recognised by the Central Government.

Exam dates-

Last Date for Seeking Admission:-
31st March for appearing in December Examination in the same year.

30th September for appearing in June Examination in the next year.

Course Fee-

Rs 4,500/- payable at the time of admission (Rs 1,500/- towards Admission Fee & Rs 3,000/- towards Education Fee)
There is no late fee for admission to the Foundation Programme.

CS Foundation Syllabus-

Paper Pattern-

Exam contain objective type multiple-choice questions. There would be two parts in a paper consisting of two subjects of 100 marks each.

Examination Timings:-
Morning Session: 10.00 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. (90 minutes)

Part - 1
Subjects - Business Environment and Entrepreneurship
Maximum Marks - 100
Total No. of Qns.- 50
Allotment of Marks - 2 Marks for each Correct Answer

Part - 2
Subjects - Business Management, Ethics and Communication
Maximum Marks -
Maximum Marks - 100
Total No. of Qns.- 50
Allotment of Marks - 2 Marks for each Correct Answer

After-Noon Session: 1.30 P.M. to 3.00 P.M. (90 minutes)

Part - 3
Subjects - Business Economics
Maximum Marks - 100
Total No. of Qns.- 50
Allotment of Marks - 2 Marks for each Correct Answer

Part - 4
Subjects - Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing
Maximum Marks - 100
Total No. of Qns.- 50
Allotment of Marks - 2 Marks for each Correct Answer

Institute of Company Secretaries of India is an organization awards degrees and membership to candidates on the basis of performance in the ICSI exam.


Foundation Course is the entrance exam of CS course.

CS Foundation Course Eligibility:-

Applicants who have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination of a Board/University constituted by law in India or any examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent are eligible for this course.

CS Foundation Course:-

CS Examination Fee:

Foundation Programme -Rs. 1200/-
Executive Programme - Rs. 1200/- per Module
Professional Programme -Rs. 1200/- per Module.

Fee Structure for CS Course:

CS Foundation Programme - Rs.4500/-

CS Executive Programme -

Rs.9000/- for Commerce Graduates / CPT passed of ICAI / Foundation passed of ICAI-CMA

Rs 10,000/- for Non Commerce Students

Rs 8,500/- for CS Foundation passed students

CS Professional Programme - Rs.12,000/-
