Criteria for UGC NET June

University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test taken by CBSE twice in a year for determining the eligibility for the: Award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and/or Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. Eligibility 1. Educational Qualification: Aspirants must have obtained 55% marks in Masters Degree . However there is a relaxation of 5% marks for the SC/ ST/ P)/ VH category candidates in Masters Degree exam for being eligible in taking this test. Candidates appearing at the qualifying Masters degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited The Ph.D degree holders whose Masters level exam had been completed by 19th September, 1991 shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks 2. Age Limit For Junior Research Fellowship: Applicants must not be more than 28 years. Relaxation up to 5 years belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants. Three years relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing LL.M. Degree. For Lectureship: No upper age limit . As last date to apply is over , please try next year . Important dates : Last Date for online submission of applications was : 12th Mar, 2015 Last Date for Receipt of Duly Completed Hard Copy of Online Applications was :17th Mar, 2015 Last Date for Receipt of Duly Completed Hard Copy of Online Applications (remote areas) was 3rd Mar, 2015 Exam was held on 21st Jun, 2015 |
