Criteria for AIIMS PG

I have completed MBBS and now I want to do PG course from AIIMS so please tell me am I eligible for taking admission into the PG course of AIIMS? Also provide me the detailed information about the eligibility criteria of this course? Tell me from where I can download the application for taking admission at the AIIMS?

The AIIMS PG exam is organized by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. It is a national level entrance exam to offer Postgraduate courses in MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch.

Through this entrance exam, the admission will be offered in various AIIMS medical colleges within India. The exam is conducted two times in one year.

AIIMS PG Eligibility Criteria 2019


Aspirants seeking admission to AIIMS PG courses must possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from an institution recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.

It is essential that all the candidates complete the compulsory one-year rotatory internship on or before January 30, 2018.

AIIMS PG applicants from General Category must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while the candidates from SC/ST category must secure an aggregate of 50%.

Candidates with benchmark disabilities applying under the Persons with Disability (PwD) quota belonging to the above two categories must secure the minimum aggregate required in the respective categories.
