Higher Education after M.Sc in Statistics:
M. Phil in Statistics
Ph. D in Statistics
Research in Statistics

Careers after M.Sc in Statistics
Statistics deals with the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of numerical data.

Different areas of statistics are crime, census, ecology, medical, statistics on job-seekers, on education, film, cricket, oil, market, accident, labour, population statistics, election, tourism etc i. e in each and every sphere of our day to day life where measurable data are available for documentation and analysis.

You can join Economic survey of India or any bank as a Statistical officer or you can even get in to Research/Consultancy organizations.

You can make career in teaching Statistics in Business schools of repute, you can become an associate professor in an Engineering college, you can get an opportunity in Government Census department and you can attempt the UGC NET and can take up Research career.
