NEET UG is an entrance examination which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education every year for admission to MBBS/BDS course. Important Date for NEET UG 2016 Online Registration for NEET UG 2016 will begin: December 2015 Last Date to Submit Application Form: December 2015 Last Date to submit application form with late fee: January 2016 Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG 2016 In order to appear in NEET UG Exam 2016 applicants must be either citizen of India or Overseas citizen of India. Applicants excluding SC/ST/other backward classes are required to secure at least 50% marks in qualifying exam along with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology. For SC/ST/Other backward classes applicants the minimum secured marks is 40%. NEET UG 2016 Application Fees The NEET UG 2016 application fee is specified for General and OBC category candidate is 1000/- and for SC/ST/PH category candidates it is Rs. 500/- Counseling of NEET Exam 2013 The allocation of seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses 2013 session in various medical institutions /medical colleges under ambit of PGME Regulations shall be undertaken as per following procedure as prescribed in PG Medical Education Regulation (Amendment) 2012. “The reservation of seats in medical colleges/institutions for respective categories shall be as per applicable laws prevailing in States/ Union Territories. An All India Merit List as well as State-wise merit list of the eligible candidates shall be prepared on the basis of scaled scores obtained in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and candidates shall be admitted to Post Graduate courses from the said merit lists only. No candidate who has failed to obtain the minimum percentile as prescribed in the Regulation above shall be admitted to any Postgraduate courses in the said academic year.
