Can you tell me about the date for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA exam) counselling 2017 conducted by Anna University?

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA exam) counselling conducted by Anna University for vocational course was started from 17th July 2017. For academic course, the counselling is starting from 23rd July 2017 through offline mode. For B.Arch course, the counselling is organizing on 19th August 2017.

The candidates are allotted to the colleges during the counselling process. The candidates are called for counselling as per their performance in the class 12th examination. Admission is done strictly on merit basis.

TNEA Counselling Procedure

The counselling is organized through offline mode. One has to present physically in the counselling process.
The counselling schedule is intimated to one and also published on the website.
One has to deposit Rs. 5000 (Rs. 1000 for SC/ST category) as a counselling fee through Demand Draft & Cash.
Counselling Letter is issued to the meritorious candidates via online mode to attend the counselling.
One is called for the counselling process on the basis of the merit list.
The counselling is organized in rounds for the general candidates & vocational candidates.
During the counselling procedure, one has to select the courses/colleges as per the preferences. The documents will be verified at the time of counselling.
