The Council Of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE) is a voluntary association of all the Boards of School Education in India. It works in close collaboration with Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, other national level apex educational organizations and agencies like the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) The Report on the Result of the Secondary Examination by the Council Of Board Of Secondary Education Some of the salient features of Secondary Examination results are: Pass percentage of regular boy and girl students was 71.08 and 76.02, respectively. Pass percentage of private boy and girl-students was 45.76 and 51.07, respectively. Highest number of regular students appeared from UP Board [33.64 lakh], which is 23.15% of the total number of students appeared in Secondary Examination in 26 Boards. Total pass percentage of regular students of all Boards is 73.28%. The highest pass percentage has been reported by Council for Indian School Certificate Exam (ICSE) [98.44%]. Pass percentage of SCs & STs Twenty six Boards have reported results relating to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students. Boards of Gujarat & J&K have not furnished information. i. Scheduled Caste students Overall pass percentage of Scheduled Caste regular students was 68.06%; boys and girls percentage being 66.75% and 69.67%, respectively. Range of marks-wise results Boards, 17.67 lakh students obtained marks between 60-74% and 7.96 lakh students obtained 75% and above marks.
