Re: Computer Engineering Vs Computer Science
Computer engineering (CE) is the design and prototyping of computing devices and systems. Study of the course share much history and many areas of interest with computer science, computer engineering concentrates its effort on the ways in which computing ideas are mapped into working physical systems. Computer science (CS) is the study of algorithmic methods for representing and transforming information, including their theory, design, implementation, application, and efficiency. Computer engineering majors get more hands-on experience than computer science majors . Computer science majors get more theory-based classes. Possible job titles for computer engineers: Systems engineer, Hardware engineer, Software engineer and Radio frequency engineer Possible job titles for computer scientists: Programmer, Software designer, Business or systems analyst, Software developer, Systems support Software engineer. |
