Eligibility i) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture/Design/Interior Design or equivalent (4 years programme after 10+2) ii) Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of 4 years programme after 10+2) iii) B.F.A. (4-year professional programme after 10+2) iv) GD Art (5-year programme after 10th) with one-year post qualification professional experience v) Master’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications (2-year programme after 10+2+3) Application Fee: Rs.1100/- for all women candidates Rs.1100/- for (SC/ST/PwD) candidates Rs.2200/- for all other candidates Rs.2200/- for foreign nationals Exam centres Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram Exam Analysis CEED was held in two parts – Part A and B. Part A was a qualifying section with MCQ, MSQ, and NAT. Approximately top 10N (N being number of seats in participating institutes) in Part A will be evaluated for Part B. Part A was of one (1) hour duration and Part B was of two (2) hours duration. In Part A, apart from the multiple select questions, other questions had negative marking of 0.6 for incorrect answers. The biggest issue faced in Part A was that some questions were quite complex and needed time for solving. Level of difficulty was tough. In Part B, students were troubled by the fact that as many as 8 to 10 products had to be sketched. |
