The Association of Medical, Dental and Engineering colleges conducts COMEDK or Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka exam for admission to Under Graduate Medical, Dental and Engineering course across the institutes affiliated to it. COMEDK 2015 Important Dates Issuance Online Application will start from 2 March 2015 Last date for RFA 8 April 2015 Last date for submitting online application form 10 April 2015 Last date to submit confirmation page 15 April 2015 Issuance of Admit card will begin form 24 April 2015 COMEDK 2015 UGET Common Entrance Exam will be held on 10 May 2015 Scores will be Published on 30 May 2015 Issuance of Rank Card will begin in 4 June 2015 B. Arch – Centralized Counseling only Issuance of Online Application form for B. Arch will begin from 10 June 2015 Last date to submit confirmation page is 22 June 2015 Rank list for B.Arch, will be issued on 27 June 2015 COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or 2nd PUC from any recognized university or Board in the country. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and obtained a minimum aggregate score of 45% (40% for SC/STOBC candidates of Karnataka). Physics and Mathematics should be the compulsory subjects along with any one of the following optional subjects- Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational courses. Candidates must have also studied English as a subject in the qualifying exam. Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions. COMEDK UGET Selection Procedure: On the basis of the scores in COMEDK UGET COMEDK UGET Paper Pattern: Candidates are tested in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with 180 questions (60 questions each) Duration of the exam is 3 hours Candidates have to mark their answers on an OMR sheet Marking: For each correct answer there is one mark. No negative marking. If a candidate gives 2 answers to the same question, it will be considered as wrong. If there is a tie in the score, the board considers the number of wrong and unattended answers to come to the final conclusion. |
