Re: Combined Medical Services Exam For Dentist

The Union Public Service Commission is India’s central agency with an authorised right to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, Asstt. Geologist & Othering Services Examination, Naval Academy Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, Special Class Railway Apprentice, etc. recruitment exams.

UPSC was held Combined Medical Service (CMS) exam on 12 June 2016. The written exam was held through computer mode on 41 exam centres across country.

Important Dates:

5th March 2016 – Notification Release Date
1st April 2016 – Closing Date for Application
May 2016 (Three Weeks Before Exam) – Admit Card Issuing Date (Admit Card Issued – Download Now)
12th June 2016 – UPSC CMS Exam Date
Sept 2016 – Result Announcement

Exam pattern:

Paper I – 250 Marks – 2 hours – 120 Questions (General Ability, General Medicine and Paediatrics)
Paper II – 250 Marks – 2 hours – 120 Questions (Surgery, Gynaecology, Obstetrics & Preventive and Social Medicine.
The candidates must note that 0.33 marks will be deducted from total marks as a negative marking.
