Combined Graduate Level Examination Exam Date

I am planning to give the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam and looking for the details about this exam. Will you please provide me Educational Qualification and eligibility required to apply for this exam also provide SSC CGL exam date?

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts various examinations to select the deserving candidates for various vacant seats.

SSC conducts the most popular examination named CGL – Combined Graduate Level exam in the month of August.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have done graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 27 years old as on 1st January 2016. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rule.

Exam pattern:

The duration of Stage I examination is 2 hours (2 hours & 40 minutes for visually handicapped candidates) and total marks are 200.

Stage I examination contains only one paper that will be common for all categories of posts and will be schedules in one session only.

There be a penalty of 0/25 marks for every wrong answer.

The question paper will be in bilingual type i.e both in Hindi and English (except the section of English)
