Combined Engineering Services Examination acronym as CESE or IES is directed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) of India for enrollment of specialists to the four classifications of Engineering Services to various posts in governmental organizations.

Exam Eligibility

1. Instructive Qualification

Applicants must have a B.E degree or comparable in the pertinent branch. Applicants who are yet to show up in the last examination of the B.E/B.Tech may likewise be permitted to show up in the Examination temporarily.

2. Age Limits


A contender for this examination more likely than not achieved the age of 21 years and must not have accomplished the age of 30 years on the first August, of the year he is taking the exam.

3. Nationality:


A competitor must be either:

A subject of India, or

A subject of Nepal, or

A subject of Bhutan, or

A Tibetan outcast who approached Indian before the first January, 1962 with the aim of for all time settling in India, or

A man of Indian birthplace who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the goal of forever settling in India.

Reservations according to legislative standards are relevant with respect as far as possible and occupation opening
