Hi! Vipul as looking for some information about Combined / Indian Engineering Services Examination, here I will let you know about it. Exam is for Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Eligibility 1. Educational Qualification Candidates must possess an B.E degree or equivalent in the relevant branch. Candidates who are yet to appear in the final examination of the B.E/B.Tech may also be allowed to appear in the Examination provisionally. 2. Age Limits A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of minimum 21 years and must not have attained the age of maximum 30 years 3. Nationality: A candidate must be either: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee Salary: Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-Rs. 39,100/- (Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- Post- Class-II, Gazetted) Exam pattern Stage-I: Preliminary Exam for the selection of candidates for the Stage-II Main Examination. It will consist of two objective type (multiple choices) questions papers and carrying a maximum of 500 marks (Paper 1 - 200 marks and Paper II - 300 marks) as given below: Subject Maximum Marks Paper-I (General Studies and Engineering Aptitude) 200 Paper-II (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic and Technology) 300 Total 500 Note: There will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers. One-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. Stage-II: Mains Examination will consists of two Conventional Type Papers Subject Maximum Marks Paper-I (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic and Technology) 300 Paper-II (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic and Technology) 300 Total 600 Stage-III: Personality Test /Interview (200 Marks) Candidates who are short listed in the Written Examination are required to appear for an Interview which carries maximum marks of 200.
