Combined Defence Services Examination Fees

I want to apply for UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination so can you tell me the fees of the exam?

Combined Defence Services CDS Exam is conducted by the UPSC for admissions to Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA).

UPSC CDS 2016 fees-

Candidates will have to pay Rs 200 as their Registration/ Application Fees.

All candidates except female/SC/ST have been exempted from payment of fees.

The candidates can pay their fees either online or offline.

Those candidates opting for ‘Pay By Cash’ mode will have to pay their Application Fees to the SBI and its Associate branch by cash.

Applicants should print the system generated Pay in Slip during Part-II Registration & Deposit fee at the counter of SBI.

Notification Date: 16 July, 2016
Last Date to Apply: 12 August, 2016
CDS Exam Date: 23 October, 2016

CDS Eligibility

For IMA and OTA, you need a degree of a recognized university.

For INA, degree in engineering is required.

For AFA, you should have a recognized degree and Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Women candidates are eligible for OTA only.
