Hi I want to apply for auditions for the Colburn Dance Academy so provide me the details regarding this?

The Colburn Dance Academy is a pre-professional training program for ballet students age 14-19.

It is a select group of up to 12 male and female dancers who will receive personalized instruction and mentorship.

Auditions

The 2015 auditions for the Colburn Dance Academy were held in February and March in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.

Auditions for the third year of the Colburn Dance Academy will be announced in early 2016.

Dance Academy Pre-Registration form-




There is a $10 fee with pre-registration, which is strongly recommended.

If you choose to register on the day of the audition you will be charged a $15 fee.

Registration fees will be collected on your audition date.

The audition will be a full technique class taught by the Colburn Dance Academy Director, Jenifer Ringer, and is for advanced students ages 14-19.

Ladies will be required to wear pointe shoes and must have 4 years of pointe experience.

Please arrive an hour before audition start time to check in and complete registration.

Dancers with less than 4 years being on pointe are asked to provide a letter of recommendation from a current or immediate past instructor.

For those individuals that are unable to attend one of their auditions, they are accepting video submissions.
