COEP is the College of Engineering Pune; it offers postgraduate programs M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering of 2 years duration.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1912.

The admissions will be based on GATE score merit.

Eligibility for M.Tech:
The admission of the candidates will be on the basis of their qualifying examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks reserved category) and valid GATE score

Application fee:
Rs. 800/- for open,
Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates, and
Rs. 2000/- for Foreign National candidates

Tentative Dates:
Date of advertisement and availability of online application form: End of May 2015
Last date for online submission of application form: June 2015
Display of provisional merit list for GATE candidates on website: June 2015
