One may Required to get the Total 180 Marks to Qualify the PG Entrance Examination

Eligibility for the Entrance Examination

For M.Ch courses an applicant must have obtained a postgraduate degree in Surgery ( MS / DNB ) from a recognized University / Body as per the requirement of the Medical Council of India and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab.


For DM co'urse an applicant must have obtained a postgraduate degree in Medicine or Pediatrics ( MD / DNB ) from a recognized University / Body as per the requirement of the Medical Council of India and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab.

Required Documents :

Internship completion certificate.
MBBS Degree certificate.
MBBS Marks certificates – all University Professional examinations.
MD / MS Degree certificate
Registration Certificate with State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
Matriculation or equivalent certificate for proof of date of birth.
Conduct certificate from the Principal of the Medical College last attended.
No objection certificate from the appointing authority where working, if applicable

Examination Pattern :

CMC Vellore PG 2 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT)
CMC Vellore PG s divided into two stages
CMC Vellore PG Stage 1 exam will comprise of two papers
Paper 1 will be a General Paper consisting of multiple choice questions
Paper 2 will be a Special Paper consisting of multiple choice questions in the specialty for which the candidate has applied
Candidates who will qualify the Stage 1 exam will only be eligible to appear in the Stage 2 exam
Stage 2 exam will be an assessment test of skills and knowledge
Stage 2 exam will also consist of a Medical Checkup
