hii sir, I wants to know about the questions of clocks that are asked in the MBA Entrance Examinations will you please provide me some sample questions of clocks that are asked in the MBA Entrance test ?

As you asking for the clocks questions that are asked in the MBA Entrance
test XAT, TANCET, CAT and PGSEM the questions are as follow:

Question 1: Clocks » The time in a clock is 20 minute past 2. What is the
angle between the minute and hour hands of the clock?

Question 2: Calendar » Given that 27th February 2003 is a Thursday. What
day of the week was 27th February 1603?
Question 3: Clocks » Bbetween 11 O'clock and 12 O'clock, how often are the
minute and hour hands of a clock together at an integral number value?

Question 4: Clocks » A clock loses 1% time during the first week and then
gains 2% time during the next one week. If the clock was set right at 12
noon on a Sunday, what will be the time shown by the clock exactly 14 days
from the time it was set right?

Question 5: Clocks » At how many points between 10 O'clock and 11 O'clock
are the minute hand and hour hand of a clock at an angle of 30 degrees to
each other?

Question 6: Clocks » What is the angle between the minute hand and the
hour hand when the time is 1540 hours

Problems on clocks Some Important points :

(1) Clock hands coincide 11 times in every 12 hours, as they coincides only
one time between 11 and 1, at 12 o'clock.
(2) So, Both hands coincides 22 times in 24 hours or in a day.

(3) In 12 hours both hands are in straight line ( eighter coincides or in
opposite direction ) 22 times.

(4) So, In 24 hours both hands are in straight line ( eighter coincides or in
opposite direction ) 44 times.

(5) In 12 hours both hands are at right angled 22 times and 44 times in a day

(6) In 12 hours both hands are in opposite direction 11 times, between 5 to 7
, they are opposite at 6 o'clock only. So in a day 22 times in opposite
directions.
