Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralized test conducted by 16 prominent National Law Universities in India for admission in Law programs. CLAT Exam pattern- CLAT UG ā There are total 200 Multiple Choice Questions (objective-type) of one mark each. There questions may be distributed in five sections. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. Section wise distribution- Subjects Number of Questions Marks Allotted English including Comprehension 40 40 General Knowledge/Current Affairs 50 50 Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) 20 20 Legal Aptitude 50 50 Logical Reasoning 40 40 Total 200 200 CLAT PG ā CLAT PG exam comprise of 50 questions. There will be two different sections namely Long Essay Type and MCQ. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. Subjects Number of Questions Marks Allotted Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions (Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence) 25 100 Multiple Choice Questions (Covering all compulsory law subjects prescribed by the BCI for the Under-Graduate Course except Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence) 50 50 |
