My brother is shifting from Dubai to India and he wants to do PHD from Christ university but he has no information about from where he can get the NRI application form so will you please tell me from where I can download the NRI application form of the Christ university? What is the fee payment procedure for NRI students?

Christ University is a private deemed to be university in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1969 as an autonomous college, on 22 July 2008 it was declared as an institution deemed to be university under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.


NRI Applicants that May Apply for Admission Into the University May Fall in the Following Category

NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law

Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.

Indian citizen financed by any Institution / agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.

Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India.

Indian citizen pursued studies for qualifying examination in foreign syllabi in India.


Guidelines for applicants:
a) Create a login ID by entering valid email ID and password. Candidates must have a valid email IDand mobile number for further communication. System generated SMS and e-mail confirmationwith the application number and date of birth entered into the Online Application will be sent to theprovided e-mail ID and Mobile No.

Direct mode applicants must enter the application number which is printed on the top left corner of the application form and Receipt number printed on the receipt issued by the Office of Admissions.

Admission Requirement :

1. Copy of the original filled-in printed application form duly signed by the parent / guardian andthe candidate (Mandatory).

2. Copy of the application processing fee online payment acknowledgment slip / Original DemandDraft of the Application Fee (Mandatory).

3. Copy of Statement of marks of Class 10 and Class 11 / 12 (Mandatory).

4. Copy of Statement of marks of Undergraduate, If applying for Postgraduate programme.

5. Copy of Statement of marks of Postgraduate Degree, If applying for MPhil.

6. Copy of Statement of marks of MPhil, If applying for PhD Programme.

7. Copy of Transfer Certificate from last qualified Institution (Class 12 / Degree / Postgraduate /MPhil) (If available while applying).

5. Copy of Migration Certificate from last qualified Institution (Class 12 / Degree / Postgraduate /MPhil) for all candidates except for Karnataka State Board (If available while applying).

6. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN /

OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:
a] Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
b] Candidates applying under PIO or OCI have to produce the copy of PIO or OCI card whicheveris applicable (Mandatory).Candidates can submit / send
