Destination Services

For 20 footer minimum is 5000 lbs / 40 footer minimum is 10000 lbs.

All rates are in US$ per net CWT and on per 100 lbs basis.

Chargeable weight are based on 6.5/Cft. net for loose load and gross for liftvan.

Minimum chargeable weight is 1000 lbs. It is 3000 lbs with auto in 20 footer and 6000 lbs with auto in 40 footer. Actual weight/volume or whichever is mentioned on B.L/A.L, and is higher will be charged.

Demmurage charges of 20 footer container for Shipping Corporation of India is

After expiry of Free Time-upto 7 days: USD 8.50 per container per day
08-14 days: USD 13.50 per container per day
15-21 days: USD 17.50 per container per day
Thereafter: USD 48.00 per container per day
For 40 footer, these charges are double.
Free time is 5 days.
