Here I am giving you details about CGPSC (Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission) Exam. This exam is divided in three phases including interview for selection of graduates for posts in CGPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: You should be a citizen of India

Education qualification:
Pass graduation degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. Candidate with technical and professional qualifications will also eligible.

Age Limit:
Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 30 years

Age relaxation:
Age Relaxation of five years in upper age limit is provided for candidate of reserved categories.


Exam Pattern:

1. Preliminary exam:
General studies
Mental ability

Marks: 300
Questions: 150
Duration: 2 ½ hours.

2. Mains exam:
General studies
Language
Optional papers 3 and 4

Marks: 300 each
Duration: 2.30 hours

3. Interview

2. Deputy Superintendent of Police: 02 posts
3. District Excise Officer: 05 posts
4. Commercial Tax Officer: 08 posts

6. Assistant Director/ Food Officer: 07 posts
7. Assistant Director (Social Welfare Department): 04 posts
8. Transport Sub Inspector: 27 posts
9. Commercial Tax Inspector: 10 posts

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants age must be above 21 years and below 28 years (but 40 years for Chhattisgarh Applicants) Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess any Degree.

Selection Process:

Applicants will be selected based on Preliminary, Main Exam & Interview.

Important Dates:
Starting Date for Applying Online was : 10-01-2015.

Closing Date for Applying Online was : 08-02-2015

Date of Preliminary Exam: 10-05-2015

Date of Main Exam (Tentative): 22, 23, 24, 25-08-2015.
