CGL or SBI PO

Hello sir I want to know about which has better career opportunities SSC CGL or SBI PO so please provide me information about the same.

It depends on your future goals, if you want to pursue your career in banking than BANK PO is better than CGL. But if your goal is UPSC than SSC CGL is better.

Comparison of SSC CGL and Bank PO

1. SSC CGL posts are Group B and C posts while BANK PO is Group A post.

2. According to 10th Bipartite Agreement Salary of bank PO must be equal to Cent. Govt Group A officer (Negotiations are going on between PSB and IBA),.

Approx Salary of a PO after this will be around 40,000-50,000 per month higher than SSC CGL posts.

3. Bank PO mail avail Loan facility at very low rate.

4. Faster promotions than SSC CGL posts.

5. PO may switchover to private banks after getting 3-5 years of experience in PSB and can get good salary package(generally it is 2-3 times of your salary).

6. If you are preparing for UPSC than go for SSC CGL posts
