Chhattisgarh Pre Medical Test (CGPMT) and PET (Pre engineering test ) is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board for admitting students in medical and engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility Requirements for PMT
Qualification
Candidates should be 12th passed in science group including the following main subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology .

Candidates should be having a minimum of 50% marks in the three subjects and including English.

10% relaxation will be granted to the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST categories.

Chhattisgarh PMT and PET test paper having objective type question.

There will be a total of 100 questions put up on the following subjects:

Biology/Mathematics.

Level of the questions will be as per the syllabus of the Class 11th /Class 12th level.

Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) conducts CG PET for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses offered by its participating institutes in the state of Chhattisgarh. Qualified candidates will be called for CG PET counselling conducted by DTE Raipur. The authority also offers admission to various BE/B Tech programmes through JEE Main scores.

CG PET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship

One should be an Indian national.
One applying for the examination must have a state domicile.


Upper Age Limit: (as on 1st July 2020)

UR category – 30 years
PWD (UR category) – 35 Years
SC/ ST/ OBC/ Female of Chhattisgarh – 33 Years
PWD (SC/ ST/ OBC/ Female of Chhattisgarh) – 38 years


Academic Qualification

One must have cleared the higher secondary education (10+2) exam form a recognised board or from the Chhattisgarh Board.

One must have Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and one of the technical vocational/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ IT/ Information Practice/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies subjects in their qualifying exam.

The minimum qualifying marks are 45% for General and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

For Agricultural Engineering/ Dairy Technology: One must have passed in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as compulsory subject with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
