Certified Financial Planner Course Fees
I am planning to do the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) course and want to know about this course in details. Will you please tell me how can I do this Certified Financial Planner (CFP) course and also tell me what the fees of doing this CFP course?

The Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is a professional certification mark for financial planners conferred by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) in the United States. CFP Certification Path: 1 Regular Pathway: Appear for all five exams and pass with a minimum of 60% for the first 4 exams and 50% for the last. Fee Structure: - Registration Fee: Rs.10,000 - Exam Fee: Rs. 13,000 (Rs. 2000 for each of the first four exams and Rs.5000 for the last exam) 2 Challenge Status Pathway: Candidates only appears for the fifth exam and pass with a minimum of 50%. You must have minimum of three years of work experience and a specialized qualification in finance or related subjects. Registration fee: Rs. 25,000 (inclusive of the exam fee). Preparing for the exam The course of study is the same for both the pathways and you need to appear for the following modules Risk Analysis & Insurance Planning (Exam 1) Retirement planning and Employee benefits (Exam 2) Investment Planning (Exam 3) Tax planning & Estate planning (Exam 4) Advance financial planning (Exam 5). No of questions 75 questions of 1, 2 and 4 marks for tests 1-4 and 15 questions of 2,3,4 and 5 marks in test 5 Maximum Marks 140 for 1-4 and 50 for 5 Duration 120 minutes for tests 1-4 and 240 minutes for test 5 Certificate Validity: 1 year. The certificate needs to be renewed every year. |
