Central Universities Common Entrance Test is an all-India test being organized by ten Central Universities together, for admission to about 200 Integrated, Post-graduate & Research Programs in Universities.

M.Phil admission is done through Central Universities Common Entrance Test.

In the integrated MPhil of the total six semesters, the first two semesters are designed and dedicated for the MPhil component.

To move to the PhD phase of the programme, the student has to successfully complete the MPhil component.
