Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification against recruitment of Teachers for Classes I to VIII through Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET – Feb 2016)

Eligibility Criteria-

Eligibility for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education

Eligibility for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on Examination.

Starting Date to Apply Online 04-12-2015
Last Date to Apply Online 28-12-2015
Last date for payment of fees through E-Challan or Debit/ Credit Card 29-12-2015 till 03:30 PM
Period for On-line Corrections in Particulars 30-12-2015 to 04-01-2016
Final Status of Application Check the Status of Application and/ or Particulars of candidates whose fee received 30-12-2015
Download Admit Card from Board’s website 25-01-2016
Date of Examination Paper I: 21-02-2016 at 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM
Paper II: 21-02-2016 at 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Declaration of Results on or before 06-04-2016
Dispatch of CTET Marks Statement/ Certificate 05-05-2016 Onwards
