Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship scheme

I have scoring 84.5% in medical science with Maths in 12th CBSE ? Please tell me can I am eligible for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship? Also tell me about the eligibility for Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has offers Scholarship for eligible candidates under the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) for College and University Students 2014. This Scheme will cover students from class IX to XII

This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the results of senior secondary examinations.

Total 82000 fresh scholarships per annum (41000 for boys and 41000 for girls) will be awarded for graduate/post graduate studies in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant should be an Indian national

The applicant should have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination 2014 conducted by CBSE
The applicant have secured the total aggregate marks (in first five subjects) equal or above the following minimum marks as per the stream opted by the applicant: Science - 426; Commerce - 412; Others – 351
The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship.

Total annual income of parents of the applicant from all sources should not exceed Rs.6 lakh per annum

The applicant should not belong to creamy layer as defined by DoP&T from time to time.

Last Date for Submission of Hard Copy for CSSS-2014 was on 30th Sept, 2014
