Hi I would like to know the details of the entrance examination for the M.Tech degree as well as the various courses offered by CENTAC?

CENTAC Admission to the principal semester MTech Programs offered by the Government supported schools in the Union Territory of Puducherry is concentrated and made by the Centralized Admission Committee – CENTAC – PG, Government of Puducherry.

CENTAC Entrance Examination would be directed just at Pondicherry Engineering College for the Non – Gate and Sponsored contender for admission to M.Tech courses

CENTAC Exam Pattern

The CENTAC Entrance Examination is of two hours term comprising of 90 target sort questions. Each PG Program would have a different inquiry paper covering the segments learnt in the relative undergrad discipline. Each right answer conveys 4 stamps and wrong answers will have less 1 mark ( Negative imprint ). Applicants need to shade the answers in the coding sheets which will be supplied at the season of test alongside inquiry booklet.

CENTAC 2015 Allocation of Seats

Out of the aggregate authorized admission, 75% of the seats are held for hopefuls from U.T. of Puducherry and 25% of the seats saved for applicants from different states/UTs, for the PG courses offered in Government/Government supported Colleges.

The reservation in admission to different Post Graduate courses offered by the Colleges keep running by the Society and Unaided Private Professional Colleges are as per the following:
