The CDS Recruitment examination Last Date was 24th Feb. 2013. As you can see that the date is already gone so you are too late to apply, but don’t lose hope, better luck for next time. Here I am telling you the eligibility for applying for the post:

Eligibility:
The candidate should have completed 12th with science Math subject with good academic record from any recognized university of India…

As per your request I am providing you some details related to CDS exam.

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is conducting CDS (Combined Defence Services) Examination (I) 2015 to recruit dynamic and talented aspirants in various courses to fill up 464 vacancies.

But the dates for this is year recruitment is over and you can apply for the same in next year. To get updated notification for next year you can visit official website of UPSC.

Online application closes on 5th of December, 2014

Payment of application fee by cash mode closes on 4th of December, 2014

Examination Date- 15th of February, 2015

Pattern of examination:
A. For Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy courses :

1. English : 100 marks (2 Hours)
2. General Knowledge : 100 marks (2 Hours)
3. Elementary Mathematics : 100 marks (2 Hours)

B. For Officer’s Training Academy course :

1. English : 100 marks (2 Hours)
2. General Knowledge : 100 marks (2 Hours)

Syllabus of Written Examination-

1. English paper will include questions based on understanding of English and workmanlike usage of words.

2. General Knowledge paper will include questions from current events, Indian History, Geography, etc.

3. Elementary Mathematics paper will include questions from Arithmetic, LCM, HCF, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, etc.

Contender who qualifies the written examination is shortlisted for Intelligence and personality test / Interview.
