CDF stands for Children's Defense Fund. The aim of this program is to help children fall in love with reading, increases their self-esteem, and generates more positive attitudes toward learning in summer and after-school enrichment.

This program supports the supports children and families around five essential components:
High quality academic enrichment
Parent and family involvement
Social action and civic engagement
\Intergenerational servant leadership development
Nutrition, health and mental health
