Centralized Counseling for M. Tech. / M. Arch./ M. Plan. admissions (CCMT) is an on-line admission process for all National Institutes of Technologies (NITs) and several other Centrally funded institutes viz. IIITM Gwalior, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, SLIET Longowal, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA Vijayawada, IIIT Allahabad, Central University of Rajasthan, Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, and IIEST Shibpur in India.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) qualified candidates must apply online for CCMT for admissions to the M.Tech programmes at the NITs and some CFTIs.

CCMT 2016 Important Dates:
• Start of online applications: April 11, 2016
• Last Date for Payment : May 16, 2016
• Last Date for Choice Filling: May 19, 2016
• Locking of Choice Filling: May 16 to May 19, 2016
• Round 1 of Seat Allotment: May 29, 2016
• Round 2 of Seat Allotment: June 6, 2016
• Choice Filling for NSR: July 4 to 8, 2016
• National Spot Round: July 11, 2016

CCMT 2016 Counselling Process:
• The Counselling is online with seat allotments based on the GATE scores of the candidates and the options entered by them.
• One who is allotted a seat need to first pay the specified initial fee online or through SBI Echallan.
• Only after payment, one has to personally report to any one of the ‘Reporting Centers' or ‘Allotted Institute’ as per the schedule given in the brochure
• At the reporting centres, one have to get the original documents verified, submit photocopies of the same documents and proof of the initial fee payment to mark their acceptance of the offer of seat
• One can also exercise “upgrade Options” if so desire.
• One is issued a Document Verification Note (DVN) after verification of all relevant documents and fee payment,
• One need to pay the balance fee as per the dates specified and prints the Provisional Admission letter generated after payment.
• One needs to report to the allotted institute on the specified dates for final admission and classes.
• One needs to submit the DVN, Provisional Admission Letter and the payment receipt after reporting.
