Re: CAT Exam Techniques
As you asking here I am telling Techniques/tips to get good marks in Common Admission Test (CAT) Take mock tests in online environment After every CAT mock test, you must analyse your performance Focus on strength do Practice a lot Set target but be open on number of attempts Play smart- find soft target first Don’t compromise with accuracy Prepare well before your D-day Be focused and keep calm during CAT test Begin with the solved examples in the book Then move onto the unsolved examples After you are well versed with the examples in the book, test yourself further by taking as many mock tests as possible to get used to this Computer Based Exam(CBT) Finally resort to previous years' CAT papers and monitor your progress Thereafter, practice and practice and practice more You need to put more work into your verbal section this year Get well-versed with the major changes in the CAT 2015 paper pattern Quantitative Ability (QA) with 34 Questions Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) with 32 questions Verbal & Reading Comprehension (VRC) with 34 questions Acquaint yourself with the some other relevant changes Practice your shortcuts well Remember the larger goal Work on specific skills like verbal ability and logical reasoning Work on building your quantitative aptitude and general language skills too Take timed CAT mock tests to track your progress Work on non-MCQ questions as well. While MCQs are important, you need to note that all questions have equal marks Use your online resources and connections to explore strategy to crack CAT which have worked well for successful MBA students in IIMs. |
