Re: Career after BFTech

After Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F Tech) there are plenty of options in term of both higher education as well as for job. You can pursue Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s programs in desired areas of specialization like jewelry, leather and footwear, or any specific form of fashion designing.

The job prospects for fashion technology graduates are many and students can choose what suits them the best. After completing this course, fashion designers have various options like

Working with a fashion company and producing exclusive designs for the company,

Having their own business and handling individual clients, working as a fashion consultant or stylist

Some can choose to become fashion co-coordinator, fashion journalist, faculty in fashion institutes or have a boutique of their own.

Fashion designers can opt for a job with textile and cloth companies, companies involved in leather accessories and jewelry, garment shops or fabric brands.

The options are many and as the fashion trends change the scope also widens.
