Re: Cardiovascular Diseases Treatment

Hey buddy the Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a general term that describes a disease of the heart or blood vessels.

Blood flow to the heart, brain or body can be reduced as the result of a blood clot (thrombosis), or by a build-up of fatty deposits inside an artery that cause the artery to harden and narrow (atherosclerosis).

Treatment To The Cardiovascular Diseases

Making lifestyle changes can help prevent or treat CHD. These changes may be the only
treatment that some people need.

Quit Smoking

Follow a Healthy Diet

Be Physically Active

Maintain a Healthy Weight

Stress and Depression

Reduce your heart's workload and relieve CHD symptoms

Decrease your chance of having a heart attack or dying suddenly

Lower your LDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and other CHD risk factors

Prevent blood clots

Prevent or delay the need for a procedure or surgery, such as angioplasty (AN-jee-oh-
plas-tee) or coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)

Menopausal Hormone Therapy

Procedures and Surgery

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting
