Re: Can I do CA after completion of B.Com?

As you said that your B.com is completed and you want to join the CA course. It is possible to apply for Chartered Accountancy once you have completed Bachelor of Commerce. There is no such rule that only candidates who have completed 12th standard are eligible for the Chartered Accountancy course.

CA course consists of 2 stages:-

CPT and

IPCC

The CPT is stands for Common Proficiency Test. The applicants who want to appear for CPT must need to have completed you 12th. After clearing CPT only you can appear for IPCC.

The IPCC is the second stage of CA course. With our clearing CPT you cannot appear for IPCC. But there was a change in this procedure by the Government. The change is that without qualifying CPT you can appear for IPCC , but you need to have completed Graduation.

So as you say that you have completed your graduation you can apply for IPCC directly. There is no need to clear the CPT test.

Eligibility for IPCC:

-You have to pass your graduation in any one of the following fields like
-BBA
-BCA
-B.Com
-B.Sc and many more.

Commerce candidates 50%
Non-Commerce candidates 55%
