I want to know about the Single Window Degree Admission of the Calicut University so can you please give me some information about this?

University of Calicut conducts the admission to the various degree courses (UG/PG) in arts and Science College through centralized ranking process.

It is actually a centralized or single window allotment process

Tentative Dates of degree admission allotment CAP
Basic Data Registration (Personal):
End of April to Mid of May 2016

Personal Data Edit:
May 2016

College with Course Registration:
End of May 2016

First Trial Allotment results/ provisional ranklists of CAP
Mid of June 2016

Option for Rearrangement and Corrections:
June 2016

First allotment results of CAP:
June 2016

Payment of fee & Re arranging of Options:
End of June 2016

Documents required for admission:
1) The CAP ID number and password
2) Copy of the Qualifying Ceritificate
3) Passport size photograph scanned
4) List of colleges and programmes of choice on priority basis.
5) Income Certificate for BPL candidates.

Application Fees:
Fees required for online registration of Centralized admission process (CAP) for general candidates is Rs 250
For SC/ ST candidates is Rs 100.

After getting allotment candidates are required to confirm the allotment by remitting mandatory fee Rs 425 for general candidates and for SC/ST candidates Rs 100.
