I want to do Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) course from the Calicut University so please tell me on which basis it gives admission in the MHA course? Is there any entrance exam for admission, than give me there details also?

The University of Calicut, also known as Calicut University, is a state university in India run by the state of Kerala. It is headquartered at Thenjipalam in Malappuram district. Established in 1968, it is the second university to be set up in Kerala after the University of Kerala.


Master of Hospital Administration (MHA)

The School of Management Studies also offers post graduate programme in Master of Hospital Administration. The aim of the course is to produce high quality professional managers with an analytical, managerial and humanistic skills to take up leadership positions in the health care system in India and abroad.


Duration : Two year (4 Semester)

Eligibility : A Bachelor Degree in any subject of the University of Calicut with not less than 50% marks in aggregate or a Degree under regular stream of study (10+2+3 pattern) of any other University/institutions approved by the UGC and recognised as equivalent by the University of Calicut.



Mode of Selection : Admission to the MHA is made on the basis of the following:

Group Discussion

Personal Interview.

Fee Structure : Tuition fee – Rs.18,000/- per semester

Admission Fee – Rs.12,000/- (NRI seats-US $ 1000)

Sanctioned strength : 40 seats
